The laptop will not turn on when holding the power button. Does not show any sign of turning one
Power Indicator should be on if power adapter is properly connected to the power source and the laptop. Try to use another power adapter to see if the laptop can be turned on.
If the laptop only powers up when the adapter is plugged in then the battery is faulty. Replace the battery.
The computer doesn’t turn on or has sound
Software after update may need more ram. Add more RAM to the laptop or use alternative software. Corrupted file or misconfigured operating system. Use recovery disk to restore the operating system to the default manufacturer settings. Malware or virus infections to the laptop. Try use a recovery disk from the manufacturer or try use security suite to scan any malware or virus.
Back up the data on the hard drive if needed. Use the diagnostic program coming with the laptop to run the hard drive diagnostic. If it is in warranty, contact the manufacturer for replacement.
When you are using your laptop to do work and hear a loud sound coming from your laptop and randomly turn off without any warning.
Dust and other small particles build up after time and block the airflow circulation from working properly causing the device to overheat. You can try to use a compress air that can allow you to spray some air to blow off some dust that is stuck in the fans or blocking the airflow parts.
The thermal paste might have dried up causing the heat transfer between the heatsink and the processor to be faulty. This will increase the heat coming from the laptop. You need to completely clean off the old thermal paste and reapply new thermal paste.
Speakers can have static noise due to various different reasons. It can be faulty wiring or poor gluing of wires. Some other causes can be bad drivers, incorrect audio settings or even blown out speakers. The speaker can also have fragments in the coils which can cause audio distortion.
Using windows update to check if there are any updates from the manufacturer. Using SONY update to check to see if there are any updates. Go to the Sony support website to see if there are any updates. Circuit damage can also be an issue. Take the laptop apart to see if there is any visible damage inside the laptop. Performance comprehensive inspection using oscillator and multimeter
