The Device is Not Turning ON/OFF
If the home button is not working in turning on/off your device, then it is possible the internal battery is dead. To replace it, follow the battery replacement steps here Sony SRS-XB30 Battery Replacement.
Device Keeps Turning Off Without Manual Input
Sometimes internal wires can fray or intertwine with others, causing a sudden power outage of the device. To fix this, you may need to check the wires that are connected to the power source. Attempt to untangle them here Sony SRS-XB30 Wires Replacement if needed.
The problem could be one of the following:
Try another charging adapter. If the device still does not charge then you need to purchase a new adapter. You can purchase a new charger online/in stores.
If the device does not charge with a new adapter, you will need to replace the charging port. To replace it, there are some steps provided here Sony SRS-XB30 Charging Port Replacement.
If your device does not pair with other bluetooth devices, the problem could be one of the following:
Before making any mechanical movements, the problem might be easily fixed by resetting your device. You can do this by pushing the reset button. You will locate the reset button under the flap on the back side of your device. Hold this button down for ten seconds.
If your device still does not pair with other bluetooth devices, then you will need to replace the Bluetooth chip. Sony SRS-XB30 Bluetooth Chip Replacement will provide you with steps to replace the Bluetooth chip.
If your device produces distorted sound quality or no noise at all, then one of the following might help:
Make sure the device that is connected to the speaker via Bluetooth does not have a built in radio or tuner. As this can interfere with sound quality of the speaker.
