I have searched far and wide and cannot find a source for a replacement battery. Has anyone had any luck finding a replacement battery?

Google ‘srs-x5 replacement battery’. That’s what I did, and found two different places in the US. I just ordered this one for $28, free shipping:
https://www.smavtronics.com/2600mah-lis2…
They have a higher capacity (3400mAh) for $35 , but I opted for the cheaper one since it was significantly higher capacity than the very adequate original (1800mAh). There also seems to be several retailers in other parts of the world. Thanks to Carrie for posting this, I was just about to replace the whole darn speaker, which still sounds as good as new!

My speaker would not power on at all (no lights). Reset button and pwr/- did not help. Seemed odd that the battery was dead as I hardly ever used it on battery. after unplugging everything, then plugging it back in with the battery unplugged, it came on. So perhaps the electronics (capacitor?) needed a draining reset to clear some strange state? …and that was not happening as long as a charged battery was plugged in. I had actually unscrewed/unplugged the speakers before realizing it was working again. Put it all back together and it works fine.
